"Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there.
Sometimes you need to go in-between to get a better view"
by Judy Bragg Pardo
The sun will shine and give you warmth if you open your door;
The moon will guide you through the darkness of the night;
And in-between day and night, you are on your own;
Here close your eyes and come in-between where it is safe;
Search me in all your senses-touch, see, hear, smell, taste, instinctively, intuitively;
In your dreams, imagination, thoughts...create details beyond reality;
For there is no reality, I am not real;
Yet, I am here.

Take a deep breath . . .
I search for truth beyond what we see, hear and feel in this physical world.;
Fear not to delve in the unknown for that is where you will find who you are;
Along with the answers, messages, visions you need . . .
It is a beautiful feeling to KNOW that we live forever.

My life's palette contains many hues that color my world:
RED for my love and passion.
BLUE for my solitude and loneliness.
BLACK for the negative things in life.
GREEN for every new day I awake.
WHITE for all my innocence and beliefs.
PURPLE for hope for my family, friends, the world, for life after death and reuniting.
YELLOW for all the unpredictability, that I even create myself.
ORANGE for the dreams, fantasies, and frenzies that accompany me.
BROWN for my depressions and sadness upon myself, my family, and of my own creation.
NEON FLOURESCENT for all the ups in life, real or artificial.
My palette is complete, yet I know not the path of my colors.
As my soul searches through life, it continues to color my world.

Soft wind whispering in my ears
Telling me tales from afar.
Echoing voices in strange tongues
But conversations seem to be the same:
STRUGGLE IS EVERYONE'S EFFORT.
FREEDOM IS EVERYONE'S GOAL.
CHANGE IS EVERYONE'S NEED.
DEATH IS EVERYONE'S DESTINY.
Life's answers lie in the stars, not the wind.
And in the souls of the dying.

A friend is like a wave in the ocean who will come forward to lend a hand,
and yet will stay afar when solitude is needed.

Little glass animals floating through the air;
Bucking up their heals and laughter they share.
Among the pretty balls of colored lights that cast a flare.
This is my world, until the wind catches them in its snare;
And then my imagination soon becomes black and bare.

Be true to your heart and thoughts as well as to others who hear and see you.
Cleanse your thoughts as you do your body.

When the birds above and crickets below sound of harmony
And the cool breeze has swept up the warmth
As the darkness creeps and captures the light
Let the memories of today, open my day of tomorrow.

There were two seeds that were planted side by side. With the nourishment from
nature -the sun, rain and soil- they each began to sprout and grow. The one plant was a little taller than the other and thought it would protect the smaller one from the hot, summer heat rays. The smaller plant couldn't grow to its fullest extent because the tall plant's shade. It became sadder by the day and began to
wilt and turn brown as its inner most being could not bloom. The tall plant seeing what was happening, realized that each started out as a separate seed. Each one had the capability of taking care of oneself and that in protecting it, the tall plant took something very important away that was needed in the other's growth. The tall plant began to straighten up and allowed the other plant to get strong again. In time, the smaller plant grew as tall as the other one and bloomed into the most beautiful flower.

You are strange from head to toe.
Have you come as friend or foe?
I have never seen anything like you, before;
I don't know if I should stay or go.
But your eyes are kind, in this they show;
Friend, yes, and in time, you, I will come to know.

People have different images and expressions of beauty and love:
Some write them down,
Some paint them,
Some can say them,
Some can act them out naturally,
And some keep them locked away forever . . .

The shadow that stalks me is of the past and forever follows me.

My freedom, my peace of mind, has always been walking
in natures woods and mountains, or gazing at Neptune's
ocean's river. Listening to what comes natural to
sounds and to silences. When there is silence, you
can feel free to talk. I have also found these wonderful
gifts in writing and my art work. My inspirations. As
God created the woods, lakes, oceans, sunsets, sunrises . . .
I can create and capture my inner most feeling in these
works. God must be a beautiful person!
For when I create, I feel this way.

Some say a dandelion is nothing, but a common weed;
That they are unwanted and disrupt the green.
Some go unnoticed until the yellow flower submerges;
Kissing the sun and glittering under the moonlite.
Thirsting and thriving from the bottom of the earth;
They look like little circles of gold attracting on the male bee.
But when their beauty is gone and they grow old and gray;
Dandelions once a family, stand now, alone.
The wind will come soon and spread their seeds to afar.
Dancing in the air until a new home is found.
And the dandelion will be once again unwanted by all, except,
The comfort of the male working bee.

I once had a vision . . .
I was glazing in a stream
Fixing my hair in the water's mirror
When the image of my face started flowing down the stream.
I ran along the bank
As to try to catch up
My face disfigured by the ripples.
There advancing toward the edge
Of a waterfall.
It smoothly flowed over.
In horror, I watched my face
Fall and separate
Broken into pieces.
I once had a vision
And upon this vision's departure
I found . . .
I could not see
I could not hear
I could not . . . breathe.

Climbing vine, what do you seek so high in the sky?
You search for wisdom that only the moon and stars know.
You will flourish and combat until you succeed and grasp the ultimate top.
And when the expectation no longer remains, you can climb down, and again, wander upon the rest of us.

Traces, faded faces, you were homeward bound
Just to find out you were a stranger in town.
Have I changed so much as not to be seen?
Memories folded in a book and pressed in between.
Time has taken its toll, but that's okay
For I remember you and all the yesterdays.
There are too many changes through the passing years
Going back, your space has been taken, have no tears
Home is where you live now, and that is where your life will blossom.

Come hold my hand and fly away with me
From our dreams and fantasies, we encircle in a funnel of reality.
For what is real?
You and me in a cloud of gold dust.
I see in your eyes your inner most beauty
That brings love and peace to my mind and heart.
A love that picks me up and twirls me in a spin
Only to gently bring me down, embraced in your arms again.
My everlasting sunshine.
The love of my life.
